This class is designed to introduce the practice of asanas for all. It involves focus on the smallest parts, practicing those little motions and asanas (body positions) that are the most important (for basic long-term body maintenance) yet most neglected in the modern world. These are still the first things practiced and taught by the greatest of yogis in India. This class will help maintain and rebuild those nerves and neural networks that have faded from neglect. We will practice pranayama and basic meditation, and open and close with a chant. This class will slowly but steadily rebuild stamina and strength and cultivate the breath and reignite its vital life force. No acrobatics here! Max capacity 5. Advance sign-up is appreciated.
