Although Asana (body yoga) is an important and challenging aspect of yoga it is only one of 8 limbs of yoga. Of the total 196 yoga sutras, divided into four sections, only 3 sutras are directed towards asana. Come learn about the other 7 components of yoga, what perspectives, significance and practices they each offer. Bring your questions and come for an enlightening yet enjoyable discussion where we will understand and learn some yoga sutras, practice some of the instructions from the sutras, and experience non-asana aspects of yoga. We will also discuss ways to include them in our lifestyle and daily practice.
